We Need More Camp Sponsors!
We just received notice from the CCAA that sixteen more children were addend to attend Great Wall’s Hope Trip Camp! Forty-six Chinese orphans will be given a once-in-a-life time opportunity to travel to Beijing to participate in the educational and fun Hope Trip Camp. The children come eager to learn, excited to make new friends, ready to face new challenges and discover gifts they didn't even know they had. The children will be introduced to American culture and family life, as well participate in fun and enriching activities. All the children selected to attend the Hope Trip Camp will be available for adoption. Great Wall will work closely with the CCAA to select boys and girls age 8 to 13 years old. Our Great Wall Staff and volunteers will get a chance to personally meet and evaluate the children and provide a first-hand report to interested families. Great Wall’s Rodeo themed Hope Trip Camp will show the children our Texas hospitality. Each child will receive a Rodeo Goodie Bag with a cowboy hat, lasso, bandana, T-shirt, school supplies and other fun items! We are looking for 30 families to donate $50 each to help purchase these items. Each child will receive a special note in their Rodeo Goodie Bag letting them know that your family sends these items with love.
