WOW Kids

Hi! My name is Trevor and I am 11 years old! My doctor tells me that I tested positive for syphilis, however it doesn’t have an impact on my daily life. My caretakers describe me as an incredibly hardworking kiddo that is always striving to learn more and achieve goals! I enjoy helping my caretakers with the younger children but when I am not doing that, I love to play badminton! I also enjoy dancing to Latin music, playing games and knitting! I have so many things I would like to do in life and I hope my friends at Great Wall can help me find a family to share all of my experiences with!

Hi! My name is Cory and I am 4 years old! My doctors tell me I have a condition that makes it hard for my eyes to work the way that they should, but I don’t let that get me down! I love story time with my caretakers and I especially love playing outside with my friends. My caretakers describe me as a smiley and happy kiddo that gets along well with others! Hi there! My name is Preston and I am 8 years old. A few years ago I had surgery to repair my cleft lip and palate which I have recovered from very well! I am a happy and fairly quiet kiddo that loves playing catch and being with kids my age! My file is very outdated so my friends at Great Wall are working hard to learn more about me. Hi there! My name is Macy and I am 7 years old! I was born with hands and feet that are a little different than some of my friends. I had surgery on my hands and feet in 2013 and I have recovered really well from it! I also have a cleft palate but I don’t let any of these things stop me from being a happy little girl! My caretakers describe me as active, energetic and extroverted. I absolutely love dancing and listening to music! I’m always assisting my caretakers; I love to help others in any way that I can! My file suggests that I’m a bit behind my friends, and it took me a while to get comfortable speaking, however, my caretakers say that I’m doing very well in school now! I love singing, dancing, and helping out around the orphanage. I can’t wait to find my forever family!

Hi! My name is Connor and I am 9 years old! My doctors tell me I have Albinism which is something that affects the pigment of my skin. My vision is also a little bit impaired but I don’t let that stop me from being a happy kiddo! My caretakers describe me as a talkative, easy going little boy with a ready smile. I love studying and learning new things at school! Most of all, I love playing games with my friends! My friends at Great Wall are working hard to find me a family to love forever!

Hi! My name is Madeline and I am 7 years old! I am deaf so I communicate through sign language and I am gradually learning simple words! My doctors tell me I have a minor heart condition but I don’t let that stop me from being a smiling kiddo! I go to school five days a week and my caretakers say I have made amazing progress. My caretakers describe me as being an enthusiastic and outgoing little girl that loves to learn! My favorite activity is doing jigsaw puzzles with my friends! When I first got to the orphanage, my leg muscles were a little bit tense, however, after working hard to rehabilitate them they are getting much stronger! I can now feed myself and use the bathroom without help! My caretakers say that I love to be teased, and when I’m happy, I roar with laughter. I can’t wait to find my forever family!

Hi, my name is Whitney and I am 1 year old! When I was younger, my doctors said that my ears were different from other children’s, but now my caretakers say that I can hear just fine! My doctors also told me I have something called CHD, but I don’t let that get me down! I just have to take it slow sometimes because my heart is working hard to make sure I can keep doing all of the things I love to do. My favorite activity is playing with my toys, and I also like to watch cartoons. I recently learned how to walk with support, which is also really fun!
