New Kids on the Block

RhodeyHello! My name is Rhodey and I am 1 and a half years old. I was born with something called a meningocele on my back but some nice doctor’s gave me a surgery and I feel much better now! My legs are a little bit different than some of my friends, but I don’t let that keep me down! I can follow what other people are doing by sight and sound. I play with toys and my friends. My caretakers say I am a clever and lovely child and that I like to be held. I am an active boy that laughs and smiles a lot! CamdenHi! My name is Camden and I am 5 years old. I was born with CHD (TOF) and a cleft lip but some nice doctors repaired my cleft lip and I am doing much better now! I have been living with a foster family since 2012 which is great because it means I’ve received more one-on-one attention than I would have in the orphanage. I love playing outside, going on walks and going swimming gin the summer. My foster parents sing and read to me at night before I go to bed and they give me cuddles too. One of my favorite snacks is dragon fruit with peanut butter on it. My foster family says that I am very clever and nice and that I understand Chinese and English. I am very curious to learn new things and I always like to go up and touch things and explore them when I see them for the first time. Laney

Laney is a precious little girl from China that just turned 2 years old!  Her updated medical information states that she has Apert syndrome, as well as limb differences of her hands and feet. She recently traveled to Singapore to receive incredible surgeries to reconstruct her fingers and assist with her skull development, and she has made a fantastic recovery!

Laney’s caregivers describe her as an active, charming, and lovely girl. She is extremely affectionate and loves to be held and hugged by her nannies and nurses. Please reach out to Great Wall if you would like to learn more about adopting little Laney!
