DillonHello! My name is Dillon and I am 5 years old. I had some trouble with my kidneys when I was younger but some nice doctors performed surgery and I am doing much better now! I recovered well from surgery and my friends from Great Wall that met me say I am developing on target with my peers. I am described as being very smart, active, extroverted and I communicate extremely well. I can eat on my own, express my needs and I love playing with other kiddos. As of when my file was prepared I could locate the direction of sounds and visually follow moving objects. I could pick up small things like beans using my fingers and thumb. I would respond when my name was called and I knew the difference between familiar people and strangers. I often smile and am found of listening to music and playing with toys like rattles. But at the time my file was prepared I was able to roll over from my back to stomach and could prop myself up using my forearms, and I was lifting my head and looking around on my own. When I’d hear a sound I’d turn around and see where it was coming from. Like most babies I was a big fan of sucking my fingers at that time. I could understand facial expressions of my caretakers and when I was praised for something I would smile, but when I was criticized for something I would pout. I really like being cuddled by my caretakers and when I someone calls my name I reach out my arms to them so they’ll pick me up. I have good self-care skills like taking off my socks and shoes and feeding myself at meal times. I am a quiet, timid girl and I like doing thinks like drawing and reading books. I also enjoy listening to music and dancing. I like dogs and cats. I like playing outdoors with other children and I get along well with my foster family. Meet this 2 year old cutie from China named Nash! This sweet boy’s favorite type of food is just like him: sweets!  Nash is not only known to have a sweet tooth, but he is known to be a sweetheart among his peers. Nash does have exceptionally thin, long fingers and toes, and he has a speech delay, but that does not slow him down!  Nash is able to craw and even can walk when he assisted! His fine motor skills are on par with his peers. Nash is able to tear paper, use his thumbs, etc. Nash is on the shyer side, but is definitely an active two year old. He loves playing with toys and jamming out to some awesome music!
